Benriach appears to have a new series in stall for us! 

In this new series, Edition No. 1 is a Benriach 31 Year Old called Shades of Smoke.

Distilled in 1994, we're told that Edition No. 1 carries the digital artwork by artist Stefano Contiero who was inspired by his experience with the whisky.

A yuzu fusion boldly carries forest honey and juniper smoke circles. Chocolate clouds spiked with hibiscus and spiced orange caramel. A chorus of smoked wild honey and charred mandarin tickles the tongue, while whirls of lemon ginger fuse with lush peach and wintergreen.

The new Benriach Shades of Smoke 31 Year Old Edition No. 1 is bottled at 48.1% ABV.
