Ardbeg's Smoketrails has been everyone's favourite Global Travel Retail release over the past two editions, taking us from Manzanilla to Cote Rotie, and now Shortie is whisky us over to Napa Valley, California!

The Smoketrails Collection was created to take Ardbeg's fans on a globetrotting adventure in search of the many interesting casks that Ardbeg is able to use with its smoky Islay whiskies. And who better than Ardbeg's mascot, Shortie to take us to the very origins of these casks.

The third edition of Smoketrails showcases Ardbeg's whiskies matured in Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks along with the classic ex-Bourbon barrels, to create a bold and rich spirit.

The new Ardbeg Smoketrails Napa Valley Edition is bottled at 46% ABV and is said to contain notes of baked rye, rich espresso and cool menthol. And as with previous Smoketrails editions, this come in a 1L format.
