Aperol Spritz Now Available in Low ABV To Go Can

Following on the heels of its bottled Aperol Spritz, Italy’s Campari Group has now introduced a canned lower-ABV version of the drink.

The Aperol Spritz To Go is said to be best enjoyed chilled and straight from the can, and should capture the apéritif’s signature bittersweet orange flavour, along with herbal notes and a sparkling character.

Clad in the brand’s signature orange, the new RTD can features the original Barbieri brothers’ monogram. This design choice pays homage to the brand’s 1919 origins, blending modern convenience with a century of Italian heritage.

The launch follows last year’s UK introduction of the brand’s bottled ready-to-serve (RTS) Spritz, available in 200ml bottles at 9% ABV.

According to September 2025 NIQ CGA data, the Aperol Spritz reigns as Britain's most popular on-trade cocktail. Leveraging this demand, the new ready-to-drink (RTD) format expands the classic’s reach, offering accessibility to both loyalists and new consumers beyond the traditional bar setting.

Aperol Spritz To Go is now available in 250ml slimline cans at an ABV of 5%, each with an MSRP of £3 (US$4) per can. It will be rolled out in grocery, convenience, and wholesale stores throughout April and May.

Additional European markets will follow starting in April 2026.
