A Friday afternoon well spent with Michelle, one of the four female founders of the Soul Sisters gin, a Singapore treat! Made from a neutral grain spirit, 7 botanicals foraged from the region make up this gin with the key ones being lemongrass, Ceylon cinnamon, galangal, kaffir lime and tamarind.
A very smooth tasting gin, it has a citrus forward. On the palate, it has a lovely warmth which probably comes from galangal and this just gives it the fullness. Quite a long finish ... absolutely refreshing!
