This Japanese craft is a pure symbol of perfectionism. From the design of the crystal clear bottle, to the bright illustration of the label, to the spirit itself - a true reflection of Japanese craftsmanship.
With shochu as a base, this gem is made predominantly of a smaller variety of satsumas or rightfully known as mikans which are found in South of Japan, juniper and coriander. On the nose, clear scents of the fruity citrus envelopes you. It has a very fresh burst of sweet citrus expressions to taste, with a long finish and tiny tinges of a spicy feel lingering.
As you know, I enjoy my gins best with soda, and this one was the same. Garnished with a slice of grapefruit… only because I am just adventurous!!😂
