Colour Me Curious: Bar Trigona's New Cocktail Menu Lets You to Taste Colours in Your Glass

A constant chart topper on list of Best Malaysian cocktail bars, Bar Trigona is back in 2024 with a brand new cocktail programme, this time with new cocktails that pay homage to local Malaysian flavours through the lens of colour. 

Bar Trigona's new cocktail menu "Colour Me Curious" nine new cocktails and four new mocktails that make a play on different rainbow hues.


Iris (RM68 ++), a nutty White Russian made from Cognac, nutmeg, coffee stout, and ube cream.


This includes drinks like that violet-tinted Iris, a decadently nutty take on the classic White Russian; the blushing Pastel, a floral concoction that’s wonderfully easy on the taste buds; and the tropical Inca, a bottled tropical take on the classic Vieux Carré, poured tableside while you marvel at the liquid gold craftsmanship.


The Pastel (RM68 ++) cocktail: a floral concoction of rum, strawberry, torched ginger and fermented apples.


“Since its inception, Bar Trigona has been a space for constant discovery,” explains Head Bartender Rohan Matmary. “Our latest cocktails are meticulously designed to awaken all five senses, with each drink unfolding a fascinating story of tastes and textures, colours and aromas.”


Petrichor (RM 68++ with alcohol, RM 55++ without alcohol) is a bright, punchy blend of fig, vetiver and pandan.


Designated drivers and teetotallers can also rejoice, as the new menu boasts a selection of pirit-free drinks, carefully crafted to taste exactly like their alcohol-inclusive counterparts. Creations include Petrichor, a bright and punchy blend of fig, vetiver and pandan and Scarlet, a fizzy and elegant drink woven with raspberry, roselle and black truffle.


Airmail from Trigona is one of the three tasters included in the Curious Classic flight.

Since the beginning, sustainability has been the golden thread that weaves through Bar Trigona’s story — with the trigona honey bee at its centre. Guests are invited to embark on a journey through the transformation of trigona honey with Curious Classics, a flight of three distinct tasters featuring rum, whisky and gin. A portion from the sale of every cocktail goes towards the revitalisation of indigenous bee habitats. Bar Trigona continues to work closely with Malaysian farmers and food producers with a view to supporting local communities, as well as promoting sustainable practices.

The new cocktail menu Colour Me Curious is now available for ordering at Bar Trigona, located in the Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur.
