I went into this liking the label. Then I tasted something 'off'. No, the beer's not bad, but it's something that I HATE with a passion - Centennial. Yes, it has Centennial (oh god no).
Pours amber, has a sticky, resinous and malty body. Smells of old wet socks, or a small gym filled with sweaty people working out. It started off refreshing but there was always this malty undertone that I didn't quite recognize just because I hated it. Very pithy and piney, which sort of explains this spongy and mildly bitter citrus chew in the middle layer of the beer. Has a lasting rubbery stickiness at the back of my tongue, not fond of that!
