A collaboration between two of my favourite English breweries, with my favourite old-school IPA hops on the bill. The result I can only describe as “modern West Coast”, which to my mind means non-hazy IPA with an emphasis on hop flavour but played down bitterness. There’s that minerally note common to Thornbridge beers too.
It falls short a bit in my estimation — I was hoping for more bitterness considering the presence of Simcoe and C-hops — but this is a beer that’s right for the current times. For folks like me, there’s always Jaipur…
