Pours a (muted) golden, a nice citrusy & tropical nose, has a clean and (a little) crisp yet grassy, a sticky stretch (imagine a bitter cheese pull). Subtle honey, has a familiar wholegrain bready body, easy-drinking for a 6.5% NZ IPA! This beer's mainly for my father, so here's -
His unfiltered review: (sees the beer) "Wow nice colour, looks very tantalizing already. Wa, very nice aroma, what's that, pineapple? Passionfruit? Very well-balanced, not overly bitter in the hoppiness. There's a slight sweet aftertaste, very mild, very smooth and nice. Very good. Nicey-nicey. Can I finish this now?"
My mother joined in: "Pineapple? Bitter? I'm not an alcoholic." (still takes 2 giant sips)
