Funky yet eloquent, zingy acidic with a gentle aroma. Pours a nice cherry red, with big juicy notes of raspberry and cherries. Really tart but becomes mellow as it warms up. Has a lil thin icing sugar creaminess to top this off, super smashable for a wild ale. I'd think this will be a beginner wild ale for those who want to explore funk!
We cracked this open when I was drinking a Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, and it pairs amazingly well with it! A trio combi, this wild ale to take off the sweetness from the imperial stout and of course, a water break in the middle // always hydrate!
