Chocolate aromas was quite distinct from this ale. Poured jet black, tasted sweet from the roasty malt.
It was quite easy drinking with a chocolate cake on the side. ☺️
There was an interesting mention of using Ella hops grown in Australia but my nonsensitive nose or tongue probably didn't pick up the spice and floral notes that it was supposed to impart.
