I would never forget the time I met this beauty. It was a hot Sunday, very sunny, we went into a pub after a nice riverside walk. I didn’t drink dark beer at that time and Jon said I should try this one and I was so glad I did. It is not the ordinary porter - rich fruity on the palate with light mouthfeel. Slightly sweet and good balance of the dark malt aroma and the plum flavour. It is definitely a summer treat; you just can’t get enough of it. I became a big fan of porter and stout since that day.
