I’m a skeptic when it comes to fruited beers, especially IPAs; too many cases of indiscriminate grapefruit being added to a perfectly good beer.
However, Stone has had such a good track record with beers like Notorious POG and Fruitallica that I couldn’t pass on trying this.
It’s excellent. A hazy in name but very much Stone at its core, 55 IBUs hitting hard on the palate. The fruit character can cause it to smell medicinal or artificial at times — like bubblegum — but I don’t mind.
