Matcha beer 🍵🍺

Stepped into the ramen shop and knew I had to order this. To be honest, I was disappointed when they served a can of Asahi and a beer mug with matcha (tea, not the powder) in it.

But taste wise, I was fascinated. The mildly sweet and dry matcha really leveled up what would have been a more normal thirst quenching lager. The result was a smoother, more complex - and certainly more addictive - beer.

I haven't seen any canned matcha beers in SG but checked on Untappd and it seems there are only a handful around the world. Would definitely be exciting to try those 🤤
