Quite a departure for Thornbridge whose limited edition porters this last year have tended more towards the sweeter or fruit-flavoured varities. This is neither a London style, nor a sweeter stout but instead has a dry and roasty/coffee character. It's a little sharper in taste than the label suggests but is still light and easy to drink.
