Testing my father out on a bunch of Belgians and this is the first stop! I don't drink Belgians myself but I had a bunch of samples sitting there soooo why not?
Pours medium amber with conflicting (somewhat) aromas of dried longans and dried hay. Goes down smoothly, and I get syrupy sea coconut at the end. Actually a little bit like the Hai Di Ye cough syrup (African Sea Coconut cough syrup) with a bit of a soothing and cooling finish. Then it feels like my throat's packed with blended wet grass/hay (no not wheatgrass), I don't know how to feel about this one π
His unfiltered review: "Got a bit if stout taste leh....HOW COME AH? A bit of nutty taste, like hazelnut. Creamy but not refreshing. It's like the beer version of whiskey, not my kind of beer. How many samples do you have left sia???"
