This remarkable imperial stout by To Øl (Danish for "Two Beers") is matured with tequila chips.
Nosed a whiff of maple. Quite sweet on the tongue and not boozy at all. Incredibly smooth, silky and milky in texture. Didn't get any roasty notes. Sweetness isn't overpowering and fades into a subtle maple. The flavours open up as it warms up slightly. Unbelievably balanced and delicate for a 15% stout. A must try for me, but go slow on this one 🤣
