Got my hands on another entry for the Brew King competition 2021. This time it's the third place ale from Brewlander.
Poured with a pale hazy yellow body, the aroma is rather light on the nose though I could still distinctly identified that El Dorado hops have been used.
The first mouth was quite a treat, it was candy like and this helps to balance out the typical bitterness in the WCIPA style. The carbonation was high moderate and it's a little creamy on the mouth.
At higher temperatures the candy character slowly dissipates, other than that, the overall taste profile remains quite consistent so you could 'hold' on to this beer for longer time if you like. 😊
