Gâteaublaster - Imperial coffee, cherry & chocolate milk stout from @londonbeerfactory x @71brewing . . A great find at @artandcraftlondon , this was memorable even by the high bar set by other seasonal imperial stouts. Just like the cake it's named after this has flavours of cherry, chocolate and even a slight hint of bourboin and vanilla in the warm aftertaste. The subtlety and smoothness of the taste make it one that needs to be sipped to properly appreciate it, and at 11.1% abv this is just as well.
