Been quite busy recently. Rounding off a fun Saturday with a drink chosen by the gf and obligingly given to me. Guess it's time to put in another delivery order with @templecellars.
Amber colour, with large soapy foam. Rich toasty honey aroma. Medium sweetness, faint hints of orange. Broad malty flavours persist. And most interestingly, a savoury note, much like sautéed mushrooms.
An enjoyable malty change from the usual tropical or resinous IPAs. The addition of hops provides a familiar dry undertone and a very long crisp finish.
