Fixation Brewing Obsession Session IPA x Foo Fighters - I Should Have Known

Pull up a deck chair in your mates backyard and throw on Wasting Light by The Food Fighters! Matched with the ultimate session IPA by Fixation.

Wasting Light is the seventh studio album by American rock band @foofighters . Wanting to capture the essence of their earlier work and avoid the artificiality of digital recording, Foo Fighters recorded in the garage of frontman Dave Grohl using only analog equipment. The sessions were produced by the band alongside Butch Vig, with whom Grohl had worked on Nirvana's Nevermind. Since the old equipment did not allow for many mistakes to be corrected in post-production. The band sought a heavier and rawer sound in contrast to the experimentation of their previous albums.

The gem today involves some deep lyrics by frontman @davestruestories , speaking from the heart about seeing the tragedy and loss of Kurt Cobain, he 'should have known' when he saw FF drummer/backing vocalist and all round best mate @taylorhawkinsofficial fall off the wagon with drugs and unstable mental health. With that being said, I should have known becomes an earth moving track, haunting but beautiful in a way. Seeing a deeper side to the almost all of the time funny man.

And the beer! Four new world hop varieties have gone into this IPA at all stages of the brewing process to lend a big juicy, fruity aroma, robust flavour and firm bitterness. This beer is for people with great taste, who love a modern day classic IPA. It will have you shouting FRESH POT! 😁🍺
