The idea of banana-tinged beer is a hard concept to move beyond and the eye-watering price of this Greek-imported can is no incentive to try. For those that do take the plunge however Dulce de Banana rewards with a super strong (12%) warmth masked with the syrupy smooth flavours of vanilla, banana and chocolate. Each sip is complex enough to savour and the description doesn't do this justice as it's far more than some kind of over-sweetened imperial stout.
