BentSpoke Brewery Cluster 8 Imperial IPA x Muse - Black Holes and Revelations

The next album comes from a hugely popular, and let’s be honest; an absolutely amazing UK rock band @muse. An album full of brilliant tunes and soaring vocals from @mattbellamy. The album delivered the Number 1 track of the 2007 @triple_j #hottest100 of 2007. The album is Black Holes and Revelations and the Number 1 Track in the #hottest100 was “Knights of Cydonia”; a song that just builds and builds in a totally amazing way.

The album covers the issues of catastrophic war, with political and science fiction themes, with lyrics covering topics as varied as love, political corruption, alien invasion, revolution and New World Order conspiracies.  The album has clear influences from Depeche Mode and you can really hear the Asian and European music themes as well.

@mattbellamy 's complete vocal range spans from G♯2 to C♯6, covering approximately 3½ octaves. To put that into perspective, Robert Plant has a vocal range of of around 3.9 octaves. Bellamy is known for singing in a high falsetto, even in popular songs like Plug In Baby, Time Is Running Out, and Knights of Cydonia.

The album was a huge success, hitting Number 1 on the album charts in seven countries, and reaching the Top 10 in another ten countries. The album has sold over 4 million copies and the track “Supermassive Black Hole” has been played over 200 million times on @spotify.

Now for the beer, and it’s obvious that an album needs an absolutely epic brew from an epic brewery. The brewery is @bentspokebeer, and their beer is the brilliant Cluster 8 Imperial IPA.

The beer is big and bold, and lots of hops to really help with all the boldness. If “Black Holes and Revelations” was a beer; it would taste a lot like this one. This brew is absolutely packed with Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic, Centennial, Simcoe, Amarillo and they all work perfectly to create an amazing beer.
