This is my first dtdrinks original. I created it for my wife - ‘Reina’ meaning ‘Queen’ in Spanish. She loves margaritas and she loves mezcal. I brightened it up with the falernum and pineapple juice without overpowering the Smokey mezcal. The Tajin rim is a final touch because she loves spicy! Happy Valentine’s Day!

1/2oz COINTREAU (@cointreau)
1/2oz VELVET FALERNUM (@jdt_velvet_falernum)
3/4oz FRESH LIME JUICE
1/2oz PINEAPPLE JUICE

•Combine ingredients and shake
•Rub lime on rim of glass and dip in Tajin
•Strain over ice in rocks glass
