Brandy Crusta:

This drink was created in New Orleans in the 1850’s. It is known as one of if not the first instance of citrus in a cocktail. Leave the lemon peel garnish in place as you sip! Fun fact: this is @spencerdouglass’ wife’s favorite drink!

2oz BRANDY (@cognacgautier)
1/4oz CURAÇAO (@ferrandcognac)
1/2oz FRESH LEMON JUICE
1/2oz 1:1 SIMPLE SYRUP
1 barspoon MARASCHINO LIQUEUR (@luxardoofficial)
1 dash ANGOSTURA BITTERS (@angosturahouse)

•Combine ingredients and shake
•Rub a large area of the rim of your glass with lemon and coat with sugar
•Double strain into glass
•Garnish with a long lemon peel that crowns around the inside lip of the glass
